Valorant Champions tournament is the penultimate end of year event for tier 1 competitive Valorant where the top teams from each region consisting of 4 teams per region compete to be that year’s Valorant world champions, qualification is decided by who finishes first in their respective region and the rest are determined by championship points which are earned during their respective splits on placement per split. There is also two minor tournaments before champions that assist in qualifying by awarding points to top finishers, “VCT masters” which is held twice a year and to which only the top two teams per placement qualify for.

VCT emea is a combination of three subregions competing on one equal playing field, Europe, north Africa and the middle-east, it also consists of three splits or parts to a season, the “kickoff” tourna-ment to start off, stage 1 and stage 2 the top 4 teams interms of placement + championship points then move on to the world championship otherwise known as champions

VCT americas is the combination of three subregions consisting of, North- Central- and South-America the league consists of three splits, kickoff, stage 1 and stage 2 which along with the two masters tournaments throughout the year awarding championship points to quality for champions, of which top 4 teams qualify to. VCT Pacific consists of several regions competing around the asia pacfic with teams from Japan, South korea, Southeast asia and India consisting of 3 splits and two masters tournaments kickoff, stage 1 and stage 2 where teams have the opportunity to earn championship points and a qualifica-tion to VCT champions at the end of the year to the top 4 teams. VCT Cn/China VCT China is the only region of all four major VCT tier 1 regions that has teams that are based in only one country VCT China also consists like the other regions of 3 main splits to the year along with the two masters tournaments that help in qualifying to VCT Champions at the end of the year for the top 4 finishers Notable teams: Edward Gaming, BiliBili Gaming.
